Fable 3 - Can I marry Elliot after becoming Queen?

I'm playing Fable 3 through for the second time, this time as the princess. Last game I killed Elise but this game I spared Elliot, rescued him during "Kidnapped," and told him to leave his fiance. He's waiting for me outside the orphanage and I can propose now, but I'd rather wait until I'm Queen (gotta sow my wild oats, ya know.) I will have enough gold to save every citizen from the darkness, but I do plan to build the brothel. Will he still be there? I've heard there's glitches too that might make him disappear.
